THE WRAP

Glaze results have directed me to re-try the glaze tests and limit stain colours to four. saturation of certain colours like the orange is way too intense and gross. Paper clay worked well with stain and dilution, white slip and stain dips were also a success. Further testing is required before I reject stains altogether in favour of oxides which I’ve found to give me a more subdued naturalistic effect.
